Your Personal Data - What we need and why we need it
Your data is collected primarily for fulfillment of online image and print orders. It is also collected if you have booked us to photograph an event. Your data may include your name, address, email and telephone number. All payments are processed by third party providers: Paypal Inc (card machine and online sales) and First Data Merchant Services (card machine sales). Big Image Limited does not retain any payment card information.
Online order data is archived by the third party service provider Theimagefile.com.
Your online order data is stored for a number of years as required by current UK tax law. Some aspects of your online order data can be anonymised at your request and to the extent allowable by law. Any data that does not relate to an order can be deleted or anonymised at your request, as per the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You may also unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Unsold Prints
Prints that have not been sold on the day of the event will be shredded as soon as possible after the event, and always within two weeks of the event.
Online Images
Images stored online will be available to view for a period of up to six months from the date of the event. Images will then be transferred to a secure archive and deleted no more than six years from the date of the event. If you wish us to remove a particular photograph from the site, please notify us by email to admin@bigimage.co.uk giving details of the image, its location on the website and the reason for your request. The image will be removed as soon as is practicable.
Online images can be password protected upon request. Please email us if you wish us to apply password protection to a set of images.
